  1. Thanks so much, Nancy.

My girl Bastet, died at age 13-1/2 on March 12, 2007. The white greyhound, Lola, passed away July 3, 2007, and the larger fawn grey, Atticus, passed away about 4 years ago at age 15.

They were all pals, all passed....

  2. Oh, so sad. We bond with them knowing that sooner or later they all have to go...My Blanche is 15 and she's changed a bit in the last year, but she has some fire in her yet! I think in terms of "When I'm 50, B will probably not be here. Maybe G won't be here. I still have the other 2, but even they are advancing. Now I'm just going to go and cry.

  3. Wonderful photos! What a bundle of delightful love.

My nearby neightbor has just recently adopted her first Greyhound. She is completely smitten and I must agree it is an amazing dog in every way.

Last week, I noticed there are now 2 Greyhounds at her house. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 in the future.

I've never had one ... but I can see they would be habit forming.

How fortunate we are to have the wonderful people that rescue these precious companions.

Thanks for stopping by my site and for your kind comment.
