According to an Atlanta news story on WSBTV.com, suspended NFL Falcons pro Michael Vick has transferred prisons; on January 7, Vick was transferred from a Warsaw, Virginia, regional jail to a prison in Leavenworth, Kansas.
It is suggested that Vick will participate in drug treatment and other programs offered at the Leavenworth prison, which might then lead to a year's early release - in which case he might be available for the 2009 football season. (In September, pre federal sentencing, Vick failed a test for marijuana use.)
